FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything You Need to Know About Renting in Dubai
01Is a security deposit required to rent a luxury car in Dubai?+
No. Billionaire operates on a strict zero deposit policy on our featured fleet. We do not block large amounts on your credit card.
02What documents are required for international visitors?+
Visitors need an original passport and a valid driving licence from their home country. Visitors from some countries also need an International Driving Permit (IDP).
03How fast can you deliver the vehicle in Dubai?+
We guarantee vehicle delivery to your hotel, villa, or airport terminal within 30 minutes across Dubai.
04Can I drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and other Emirates?+
Yes, our comprehensive insurance covers driving across all seven UAE Emirates within the included daily allowance of 250 km.
05Which payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), Apple Pay, cash in major currencies (AED, USD, EUR, GBP), and cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC).
06What is included in the daily rental rate?+
Every rental includes comprehensive insurance, 250 km daily allowance, zero deposit requirement, free Dubai delivery, and 24/7 concierge support.
07What happens if I have an accident in a rental car in Dubai?+
Stop somewhere safe, call Dubai Police on 999 (minor accidents with no injuries can be reported in the Dubai Police app) and wait for the police report, then call the Billionaire concierge straight away. Comprehensive insurance is included in every rental, but in the UAE a claim can only be processed with an official police report, so never move on without one. The excess that applies to your car is written in your booking terms before you pay.
08How much do extra kilometres cost?+
Every rental includes 250 km per day. Distance above that allowance is charged from AED 20 per kilometre, measured on the odometer at delivery and return. If you are planning a long drive, for example to Abu Dhabi or Jebel Jais, tell the concierge and we will quote a larger allowance before you book.
09Can I cancel or change my booking?+
Yes. Message the concierge as early as you can and we will move the dates or switch the car where it is available. The cancellation terms for your booking are sent in writing before you confirm; once a car has been reserved, prepared or delivered for you, part of the payment may be non-refundable. If Billionaire has to cancel and cannot offer a car you accept, you are refunded what you paid.
10Can I rent a car in Dubai with an Indian, Pakistani or Egyptian driving licence?+
Yes, as a visitor. Tourists whose licence was issued in the GCC, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or the European Union can drive on that licence alone. Visitors from other countries, including India, Pakistan, Egypt and the Philippines, need an International Driving Permit together with the original licence. UAE residents must hold a UAE driving licence.
11Can I rent a luxury car with a new driving licence?+
Your licence must be valid on every day of the rental. Prestige sedans and SUVs can be rented from age 21. For high-performance supercars the driver must be 25, and we may ask for proof of driving experience, typically a licence held for at least one year.
12Can I take the rental car to Oman or outside the UAE?+
No. The car and its insurance are for the seven emirates of the UAE: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Crossing a border is only possible with written approval and additional insurance arranged before the trip.
13What is the fuel policy, and what if I return the car late?+
The car is delivered with a recorded fuel level and should come back at the same level; if it is lower, the refuelling cost is added. Use the fuel grade shown inside the fuel flap. If you need more time, message the concierge before your return time and we will extend the rental at the agreed rate, subject to the car being free.
14Is smoking allowed in the car?+
No. Every Billionaire car is non-smoking, and that includes vaping and shisha. A specialist cleaning charge applies if the cabin comes back with smoke odour or burns.
15Can I get a child seat with the car?+
Yes, on request. UAE law requires children up to four years old to travel in a child seat. Tell the concierge your child's age when you book and we will confirm a suitable seat for the SUV or sedan you choose; two-seat supercars are not suitable for child seats.
16Who pays Salik tolls, parking and traffic fines?+
The renter. Salik toll gates, paid parking and any traffic fines from the rental period are passed on at cost, and some arrive from the authorities a few days after the car is returned. There is no deposit held against them.
