What Is the Best Luxury SUV to Rent in Dubai for a Family?

Seven-seat SUVs: the easiest choice for a family

Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (V8, seven seats): from AED 799 per day. The GMC Yukon SLT has eight seats, also at AED 799 per day.

Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 (seven seats): AED 899 per day, a quiet and comfortable SUV for long days around the city. See the GLS 450.

Cadillac Escalade (seven seats, 6.2-litre V8): from AED 999 per day, for example the Escalade Sport Luxury; the 668 HP Escalade-V costs AED 1,499. The BMW X7, also with seven seats, costs AED 1,099 per day.

With all seven seats in use there is less room for luggage, so for seven people with suitcases from the airport, plan a second car or ask the concierge for advice.

Five-seat luxury SUVs for families of four or five

Range Rover: the Range Rover Sport costs from AED 999 per day, the Range Rover Vogue from AED 1,099 and the Autobiography AED 1,199. They are quiet, comfortable and well suited to long drives; all models are on the Range Rover rental page.

Mercedes-AMG G63: from AED 1,399 per day, with five seats and the classic Dubai look. Other five-seat options include the Porsche Cayenne from AED 1,099 and the BMW X5 M50i at AED 1,199 per day.

For a special trip, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan costs from AED 3,499 per day. Most have four seats and some have five, so check the seats on the car page before you book.

VIP vans for larger groups

Child seats, luggage and delivery

UAE law requires children up to four years old to travel in a child seat. Child seats are available on request: tell the concierge your child's age when you book and we confirm a suitable seat for the SUV you choose.

Delivery is free within Dubai, to your hotel, your villa or DXB airport, so the car can be waiting when you land, and we also deliver to every other emirate. You pay nothing to reserve: payment is made when the car is delivered, with no security deposit.

Every rental includes comprehensive insurance and 250 km per day. Before you book, the concierge sends you photos of the exact car, and the car delivered to you is the one in the photos.

Which SUV for your family?

Two adults and one or two young children: a five-seat SUV such as a Range Rover or a G63 is enough, with room for child seats and suitcases.

Two families, or grandparents travelling with you: a seven-seat Escalade, Tahoe, Yukon or GLS, or the eight-seat Yukon SLT.

On a budget: the Tahoe and Yukon, at AED 799 per day, are the most affordable seven-seat SUVs in the fleet, and rentals of seven days or more receive a 10% discount.
